Tein offers only one set of spring rates for Fronttrak equipped A4's, which are optimized for the 1.8t. I really want these coilovers, but the springs may be too soft for my nose heavy 2.8.

Does anybody have knowledge of or experience with this?

i gather you're FT? if that's the case, and they don't offer anything for your specific app, you should look elsewhere... though you could get something with adjustability so you can dial it in.

I know you can buy the C/O kits off ebay new for cheap...I'm curious

and in parentheses it says "includes 2.8." I don't get how this can be, seeing as FT and Quattro's rear suspensions are so different.

What I'm wondering is if I put the 1.8 kit on there if it's going to be extremely bouncy. I don't really care about precision handling because, hey, I'm Fronttrak. It's just not meant to be. I just want budget adjustable coilovers!

they were ...they did their job... great handling.. smooth ride (Not jarring)... excellent grip. Only thing is they aren't really tried and true for our cars... still guinea pig stage.. i think guys have only been running them for less then a year on our cars.
