Default Any CARB approved chips for 1.8t?

I just bought a 98 A4QMS and am interested in a 'chip' I've read a lot about the various choices and have not seen any mention of EPA or CARB approval (I live in CA). Is there a CARB approved chip for this engine?

Default Here's one ...

I don't have a chip and don't know anything about chips, but here's a quote from a recent magazine,

"The crew at Autotech are proud to say that they are the only chip manufacturer with the technical knowledge required to be able to offer CARB exemption orders for each and every Q-Chip."
This company is in San Juan Capistrano. (www.autotech.com)

But then, Neuspeed is in Camarillo (www.neuspeed.com) and AMS is in Costa Mesa (www.advancedmotorsport.com). JT Motorsport is in Simi Valley (www.jtmotorsport.com). There's a company called New Dimensions in Santa Clara that says it has upgrades from "the legendary German tuner TEC," (www.newdimensions.com). I don't remember seeing any CARB approval statements for these, but they are all in California.

That's all I know, but I'll be really, really surprised if you don't get any other answers.
