any negatives if i go with a neuspeed short shift kit? recommended vendors?

shortened throws is main objective but i think that i'd like the shorter shifter height as well. mine is a pushdown reverse. any issues? thanks, audi experts.

Only negative is the pain caused by kicking yourself for not doing it sooner. ;-)

The Neuspeed is a phenominal pain in the *** to install compared to the UUC...

...but it was ultimately worth the pain because I like it better than my old UUC.

Yeah...try Carparts....~$230 for the pushdown version

I've seen it listed on SPP's site for $349 (pushdown version)....with a 20% off coupon at Carparts it's around $230. Now, how long it'll take to get it...that's a WHOLE nother issue :-) Carparts can be notoriously slow (though i got my 19mm neuspeed sway bar in a week and a half...not bad for $138)....but if you're not in any hurry, then they'll save you some $$$.
