I have the A8 brakes up front. Sunday we went on a fast drive. When we stopped, my rear brakes were smoking/steaming and stinky. The fronts were fine. The rears are OEM rotors and EBC Greenstuff pads. I'm concerned that the rears aren't up to par with the fronts. Should I be concerned about this? What are my options? I didn't really find any valuable info searching. Keep in mind, money is a major restriction as it was with the fronts.

Since most of the braking is done with the A8's up front, and a very minimal amount is done with the rear, from what I have heard upgrading the rear is not really worth it. I mean, you can put some slotted rotors/SS lines to help reduce fade/heat and improve bite, but not even that is gonna stop the problems..

...but would really like something as easy as the front A8 upgrade that only requires new carriers and rotors. I guess I'll talk with Champagne about it. Maybe if I use a different pad compound on the back it'll help even out the temperatures?
