The hot FL sun is getting to me! I guess some tint would help. I don't want to tint to "hide", I want to tint to "shade". Anyone know of a reputable shop (Hollywood Area?). I have a Melange A4 so black colored tint would look really cool! How much tint % is legal in FL? How much is tint generally? I've had three vehicles tinted at Window Tint USA in Pompano Beach (Powerline road south of Copans). Their number is 960-0212. I had mine done with medium (35%, the legal limit on front side windows in FL) titanium tint, and had 17% grey non-titanium put on the back window. Tes, I know that sounds like it would not match, but they are very close. The titanium has a lifetime warranty, the grey has a 5 year warranty. I went with non-titanium in back because the antennae is in the back window (although others have said that is not a problem) and because I use a Val-1. I have seen no appreciable loss of detection range with the Val-1.
