any techies know how to get the factory CD player to play MP3s?

They still need to be transfered to .wav format before they will play on a CD-R. I don't think the stock CD Player will play CD-RW's. In fact I doubt it. But hey free music on a 50 cent CD-R aint bad.<p>1998 A4 1.8QTS MTM Stage II

Yes if you are using Nero. However I am speaking of the CD-RW "physical" format in particular. Not sure if the stock CD-Player in the Audi can play that media. CD-R yes. CD-RW...not sure.<p>1998 A4 1.8QTS MTM Stage II

I'm going to ditch my CD changer for one of these when they come out...
