Anybody disable their side curtain airbags?

That would be side airbags, not the curtains

Default Not really solid info, since if it was solid he would know that the seat airbags can't be uncoded

I'm aware there is <a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/a6/msgs/815521.phtml">coding</a> available if one changes some components.

Only shot you got is to remove the connector going into both curtain airbags, then measure the resistance of the airbag, and place a resistor of the same value into the plug for that airbag.

Default Here's said coding chart, right from the Bentley manual. Looks like it can be done.

I will probably just end up removing all the air bag stuff anyway. The steering wheel will be one of the first to go.
