Default anybody know the function of the switch that is located...

on the drivers side between the front and back doors? I hadn't seen it up until today when my best friend pointed it out to me. It has an on and off position, but we didn't see what it controls. Could someone enlighten me please.

Default Interior motion sensor ... push it in (lights up), then close and lock doors to de-activate

if leaving kids/pets in car, for example

Default interior motion alarm switch.

when someone breaks into your car, sensors see their motion. the switch can disable it for example if you want to leave a dog inside the locked car- dog can move and not set off alarm.

Default **shakes head in shame** RTFM

its already been mentioned, but its the interior motion sensor button. press it when you're driver's side door is open, it will light up the LED next to the door lock so if something where to fly into your car (with the windows open) like a leaf, or a fly, your alarm wont go off.
its also conviniently located in your manual.

you know, the OT guys were missing you just the other day. you need to head over there and bring up some kind of sex poll! you know how much they love it.

Now THAT would be cool - if Audi built that, 007 could drive one :-)

given that my A4 doesn't have a sunroof, I'm not going to try that.
