Default more info..

The Bosch/MTM valve is nothing more than a Bosch valve (part #0 280 142 110) designed for the Saab 9000T. This valve holds more boost than the stock valves - but reportedly not as much as the new TT (710N) valve. Personally, I don't like the MTM marketing tactics for this valve. Their website suggests that they have have something to do with the design of this valve (i.e., they rename it with MTM) and say that they think it is a better solution than the TT valve. They also want $45 for a part that you can get for $22.

Default Hey Chris...yeah, I figured they were overcharging...

for a Bosch part I can get elsewhere. Hmm...they speak of the 710N valve and elude to the above valve(0 280 142 110) as being a newer design?? I don't even think it is the MTM marketing tactics, but rather, Joe Hoppen Motorsports! Although they call it MTM/Bosch, they do mention Audi & Bosch's name. Hmm...710N or this one. Which valve do YOU have, Chris? I'm still running the stock valve but would be willing to spend $27 on one of these redesigns.

How many miles are on your car now? I'm @67K.

Default Hey Jeff

I installed the 110 a few months ago - which replaced the infamous MC Valve that Clark sold around here a couple of years ago (with the Bosch part number dremelled off). I like it but it really doesn't do much if your stock one is functioning properly.

I have 54k on my car and will probably have Caruso in Westport do the timing belt soon. I haven't seen you in a while. When's our next happy hour?

Default The partsbin does not sell the 710N - only the 110. Clair has the best price on the 710N

I believe around $26 plus shipping - but check your local dealer (mine wanted $37...
