Default Take it from me don't do it..

<center><img src="http://ip-004-227.gw.total-web.net/~cramirez/audi/eibach/Front-Driver-wheel-measured.jpg"></center><p>I tried this route and had nothing but trouble. I started with Eibach's Prokit I figured it would provide the softest ride. Well it did provide a soft ride but my shocks didn't work very well and I had a pogo effect. But important the Eibachs were no good I had one side lower by 9mm than the other and it would cause rubbing. Thus don't get Eibachs.

I then added Neuspeed/Bilstein Shocks with Eibach springs it worked better but didn't solve the problem.

I finally went with Neuspeed shocks, sport springs, and front swaybar. Going to add rear swaybar and subframe brace now.

I highly recommend Neuspeeds suspension. I use to have to be very careful of bottoming out on the suspension and rubbing. Now I don't even think about it twice. Also the front was really low while the rear wasn't anywhere near where it was suspose to be.

BTW Eibach blame all the problems with there springs to 1) Bad shock 2) bent frame 3) bad installation 4) Oh they are within tolerance 5) anything they could think of.

It cost me over 600 dollers to constantly check for all the condition.

Besides the Neuspeed setup I would also recommend a coilover setup like Koni's but have them revalved.

So saved your money and do it right the first else you will spend alot of money on labor than on parts.

BTW here are some pics of my Eibach problems.<ul><li><a href="http://ip-004-227.gw.total-web.net/~cramirez/audi/eibach/">Audi Eibach measurement pics</a></li></ul>

Default I have Eibach's with Factory sport dampers and it site PERFECTLY level.

Mine are the "Eurosports" from Clair (I'm pretty sure it has been determined they are the same as the Eiback "Pro-Kit").

The ride height is totally level. I had an uneven ride height after 8 months with my stock sport spings. My dealer replaced, the driver's side springs only (F & R)
and it solved the problem.

When I swapped in the Eurosports, the ride height was perfectly level, side to side.

My only gripe with the Eibach's it the front to rear height ratio. I have roughly 1 cm more front wheel gap, which I've noticed with 1.8T's.

Call me crazy, but when I look at 2.8's (heavier engine...) the gaps look more even. Does Eibach make different kits, or is it simply the weight of the engine that predicts the front ride height.

Long story short - I am planning to change over to KW Coil-Over's... for the superior ride, and the infinate adjustability. I'm finatical about ride height, and with the coil-overs, I'll get the ride, and exact "stance" I'm looking for.<p><a href="http://www.rwnewmedia.com/a4/index.html" target="_blank">

Default hwnnights was talking about stock "non sport" shocks NOT stock sport shocks.

I would not use the non-sport shocks with any upgraded springs.<p><a href="http://registry.audiworld.com/audi/registry/details.asp?car=161"</a><img SRC="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/AudiWorldPics/2000/a4registrydl.jpg" BORDER=0></a>

Default You didn't do correct suspension change and you blame?

Eibach? Those springs are designed to be used with the stock shock. Those shocks are so soft a baby can compress them. The Bilstein are so much firmer you literally can not compress the shock if you put all your weight on it. I personally run Eibach/Bilstein and know of many others that have including all the Audi Eurosport spring made by Eibach and no one has these problems. I'm not trying to tear into your claim, just realize that aftermarket springs are designed to be used with new shocks as well.

Default What is wrong with using an upgraded spring with a stock none-sport shock. I have intrax springs on

my shocks and the ride is just fine. For every day driving/work car/show car/club driving.<p><a href="http://registry.audiworld.com/audi/registry/details.asp?car=5395"><IMG SRC="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/audiworldpics/2000/cmhatp0016.jpg" border="0"></a>
