Anybody seen the exhaust dyno tests in this months European Car?
I checked the article while waiting at my 5000mi service... it made for some pretty interesting reading.
I wonder if the dyno plots are similar for the audi 1.8... that is if the companies make exhausts for the a4. Upon reading I was all excited for the autotech exhaust - WHICH THEY DONT MAKE FOR THE A4. Dammit!

Anybody else notice the weird results? The muffler-only Remus and Oettinger made more power than....
some full catback systems. The Jetex exhaust seems to have huge gains in torque, but decreased HP by 16! And then EC comments that it has good power. ??? There were a few other systems that decreased HP as well, and I think one that decreased torque.

Check this out... the complete story....figures the best performing...

Yeah, they comment that the Supersprint yielded the biggest gains, but then when you look at the
dyno, you notice max HP actually dropped and there was only a negligible gain in torque.
But then again, this IS European Car were talking about.
