It's supposed to be an excellent event. If you want an opinion from someone who's done it several times, head over to the Racing forum and ask Warren ****.

I have been out to summit, and the track is quite nice. Good elevation change and nice country. Give it a try, you'll be glad you did.

I ran "the Point" probably 25-30 days a year when I lived in Maryland. Fun track. I instructed for FAT (Friday at the Track), the Porsche Club and the BMW club. Never in an Audi- with my 911, my old Jetta GLi 16v and my '85 Golf GTi Callaway Turbo.
Give it a try. You will find that many of the instructors are Porsche and BMW club instructors. And Fridays are fun because of the variety of iron on the track.
Try the apples. Bill Scott- the owner of the track- is a horticulturist. His orchards surround the track.
