you have to take the underdash shroud off, like if you were going for the back of the fuse box. it's not the same size as the smaller fuses in the side box, it is a big fuse, where you can take the clear plastic top off. it is the left of two of those fuses. i pulled the fuse and (seemingly) everything still worked with the fuse out: AC, headlights, power windows, radio, horn, car started and ran. i put the fuse back in, but the reason i'm worried is cuz i was under the dash checking on something else and noticed that the fuse is horribly melted on the right (looking in the same direction as sitting in the seat) terminal side. the fuse box is also kinda melted underneath where the fuse is (the right blade side only). what would have caused so much current to go through that the plastic would melt, but not snap the fuse? and what is that fuse for? anyone with a bentley?
