I am considering it...just wondered what the going consensus is for B5 A4 owners...Thanks.

Car sounds great, although i hear there is a lot of drivetrain loss

Default Too expensive for what you get. Plus haldex is a major skip.

It's a fun car to drive, but not one that *I* would want to own. A bit slow, a bit too diluted, and the MKIV is...not the best platform for a sporty car.

Default well you are gonna have drive train loss on any AWD car, just like our quattros, you cant have it...

both ways. I love the looks of the r32, although i havent driven one i am planning on it very soon. I love the idea of a 240+HP sporty AWD car that is comfortable enough and reliable enough(NO forced induction)to drive to work everyday, and take to the track on weekends. Great car IMO.

I probably wouldnt buy a new one though, wait a few months and you will see a few pop up in local autotraders, infact i saw one in mine the other day, had 1200 miles for $28999, nice savings over new.

Default there is a upgrade for the Haldex rear differential

wich make the drive 50/50 on initial trottle

Drivetrain loss with haldex is not as bad as drivetrain loss with torsen.
