Last Friday my usually reliable '96 developed a misfire on cylinder 2. I changed plugs just in case, but still had the shakey idle and misfire at low rpms under load. The plug wire and coil resistances and all injector resistances were in spec. All injectors clicked the same when listened to through a tube. Then I swapped injectors #1 and #2, and sure enough the misfire went to cylinder 1. I could also disconnect each injector at idle and get an obvious change for the worse, except for #1. So I have a set of them on the way, but just wanted to know if anybody else has had injector problems. I do know that 1996 injectors have done their duty by now.

Update: I ordered a set of referb injectors from South Bay Fuel Injectors of New York, and now the engine runs smooth as can be. $125/set of six wasn't bad in my opinion, and really easy to change. I had no idea, but you can swap a set of injectors as fast as a set of plugs.
