I've noticed in the last weak or so my driver's seat felt like it was burning my ***, I didn't have the dial on 6 too much so I didn't pay much thought to it.
But I had it on 6 a fair amount tonight, and the burning was definately there, then while waiting for my KFC it was very bad and I smelled burnt plastic...or leatherette. Anyway, I now have a cigarette-sized melting of my seat and a drivers side seat that is painful whenever the heat is turned on.
I'm hoping/guessing I'll take it in and just get a new seat, but I'm worried that they'll try to be cheapskates on me and try to fix it somehow. The burn mark is obvious and I'm sure if I put the seat on 6 it will continue to melt. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem, and how the dealer / AOA handled it.

Around 30k on the car when it happened. They had to unupholster the seat and replace the elements. But since you have a burn mark.. I guess they will replace the leatherette cover. I had leatherette also.
