Perpetual Novice

I was amazed, no drama at all. I was in the number one lane, and had to cross 4 lanes to the shoulder in Sunday traffic. She started pulling more and more, but the car was completely composed, even when the wheel was getting chewed up.

I was under the impression that losing my left front tire at 60+ mph like that would have been a bit more dramatic, anyone else have experience like this?

lost both passenger side tires at 80mph at 2am, I had to go give her my spare so she could drive it home. Front rim was cracked about 1/2 way around, rear rim has a hole through it. She didn't think it was flat at first becuase it didn't start handling badly.
