Default Anyone elses car shoot flames when they shift?...seriously

So my friend Igor has a TT 180 quattro with pretty much the same exact mods I have (except test pipe), and he was following me a little while ago, i was pushin the car pretty hard, WOT shifting at 5800-6200 rpm, and it usualy makes a little "pop" noise when i do that...normal, heard other cars do that while driving "spirited-ly" but Igor said it shot a pretty noticeable 1-1.5 foot flame out of the exhaust, im guessing its mostly the test pipe, and maybe the Dahlback chip (Golf RSi anyone?) Just wondering if anyone else has gotten this, my mods are in my signature, i just ahve a K03...its the sport version i believe too, i just replaced it recently.

Default Yup...

Test pipe and high boost will do it...

Default is a little rich bad for the car, i know its not as bad as lean.....

rich will just cause some carbon buildup right? and some lost power? where as lean can fry a piston...correct?
