Anyone elses side mirror glass turning brown from the bottom up? Damn its ugly.

That's caused when the membrane containing the defog gel behind the mirror is breached. Had mine replaced under Audi Assured a few weeks ago.

No, but both of mine had burned out heating elements. Both replaced under warranty

Same thing - dealer fixed it under assured. $50 deductible for $51 parts/labor

please let me know if you are able to get it fixed under warranty. its real annoying but i dont feel like spending money on it.

Default You ould think that the mirors would have a better life on an audi such a simple thing.

Mine too on the driver side needs to be replaced

Default It's because of the heating elements. This is not a new problem to Audi with the A4..

my 88 80q had the same problem.

i understand it is not a new problem happend many years so why not fix it if it is known problem?
