yes, eventually I made them replace it but it never gave me any trouble...
occasionally the display would go out for a half second or so and come right back. I thought I was crazy at first...

Update -
I get popping from the front pass tweeter and if the radio is working sometimes when I go over a bump is when I get a pop from the speaker and then static from the radio.
