Default Anyone ever installed a Katzkin Leather kit?
How hard is it? Would it be better to have someone professionally install it? TIA -- Antoni

Default That's what I'm worried about!
So you'd recommend getting it professionally installed? Or are you saying that the kits don't work with the side airbags?

Default I have Katzkin.. looks GREAT.. even have 2-tone leather..
.. I am not sure how it would interfere with the side airbags. Mine had NO problems with anything related to the airbags. I don't know if U can order it YOURSELF.. I think only dealers/installers can order it.. you need some kind on store #. Just have it installed.

go to a Katzkin authorized installer....they might be able to accomodate side air bags

Default i told the dealership I wasn't buying the car STRAIGHT up without leather...
..so he actually incorporated it into the price of the car. I believe for me it was only $900 more.

Default FYI- I don't think they offer their kit for the sport seats any longer.
They only have patterns for the non-sport. Or at least, that's what I was told. So, if you have sport seats in your car, you may want to call to verify.
