anyone ever log their knock sensor during a wot run?

Is looking for spikes, or quick changes in the voltage. Obviously since the motor is making much more noise at 6000rpm than it is at idle, the signal will be different. But when the ECU sees the knock voltage spike suddenly, that is a result of detonation. It then retards timing accordingly.
So two cars can have two totally different knock profiles but similar CF readings, simply due to the fact that the motors are making different noises, but only truly getting detonation (voltage spike) in certain areas.
IMO, logging block 020 is MUCH more useful than trying to decipher knock voltages.
