I've got an extra one from my parts car that had 155k on it. I kinda want to tear it down, clean it, R&R whatevers needed, then put it back together and throw it on the shelf as a spare. The cams look great w/ no pitting. The only things I can think of changing are the valve stem seals and maybe the cam chain tensioner.
I know i'll need some special tools but is there anything else major I should know?

R&Ring the intake valves can be tricky because they are so tiny (read: aligning the valve keepers can be a PITA)...but otherwise, just make sure the valve springs are seated properly (sometimes they like to sit at an angle) and you should be fine.
Have you ever done a cylinder head before from any other car?
Check for play in the guides, especially the exhaust side. If those need to be replaced, then you'll have to make a visit to a machine/engine shop to get them pressed in.
Hope that helps!
