Anyone ever shipped their car cross-country with a specialized service?

Yeah... stay away from All States Worldwide (more)
I'm having my car shipped through them from NH to CA... it's been three weeks and I still haven't gotten my car yet. Supposedly, I'm gonna get it this week, but who knows. I know of some others who went through United Van Lines, shipping from East Coast to West Coast, and they received their cars in a week... not to mention it's shipped in a covered trailer. I believe this service is also more expensive, though.

I was going to, but decided to drive it from Toronto to CA...
A new appreciation for my A4! 2,737 miles in 42hours over 3.5 days.... only one "discussion" with a Nevada State Trooper who knocked my ticket down from 92 to 80. Musta been those Ontario plates. Good luck with your move.

I second that. Terrible experiece with All States Worldwide:
My wife's car was shipped from CA to CO with ASWW. The car arrived coated with dirt. Their customer service was awful. They were days late picking up the car; I had to leave the car and keys with my employer since we were leaving town before they eventually got around to picking up the car. What a mess!! Never again!
