pronounced... "Duhmuhfap"

Seriously... i'm concerned that once I remove them, the paint behind them will be damaged due to all the grit and junk that gets worked in behind them.

it took off some paint around the edges of the mudflap that is in contact with the paint. it was more of a problem with the rear ones because they always hit going out of my driveway. that's one reason for taking them off. didn't you have any trouble with that sort of thing after you dropped you car? i'm about to put in some coilovers and i need the mudflaps in the winter. i'm contemplating putting stonegaurd on the edges of the wheel whell so it doesn't chip in the winter. my .02 -Bing

Rich -- I see from your picture that you did a nice de-badging job. My silver 1998 2.8Q has hideous dealership badges on the front and back ends. I assume they are glued on and would love to get rid of them. I am familiar with the process for removing Audi badges, but have you any suggestions re removal of dealership badges? Is this something I can legitimately get the dealer (Bay Ridge Audi in Brooklyn) to do?
kl
