Anyone ever used Slick 50 Fuel System cleaner.........

just bought some and Im waiting to run my tank empty....cost $8.......any experiences? Does it do anything?

I wouldn't start putting things like that into my engine...there are no miracle additives.

What makes you suspect that your fuel system is dirty?

I wouldn't recommend it

Lots of detergents in current fuel (since fuel injection is so common) so very little reason to use a fuel cleaner now. If you do feel the need I would not use Slick 50 since I have heard bad things about their oil additives.

I throw a can of Techron in my car once a year, usually before a long road trip.

Some folks will tell you it screws up valve seals and such but I doubt it. I do it just to keep my injectors clean. Never tried slick 50 but I'm sure they are all about the same.
