Default yup..

I may be purchasing a pair used off of someone local who had a pair made. Very nice kick panels, but the plastic used is darker and shinier than the OEM plastic at the door sill trim. The plastic in that picture you posted is more closer in color, altho not texture. But I'd rather have color.

Default they were designed around a set of diamond hex s500a

which are 5.25" 2-way component, with aluminum tweets. I'm not sure if the x-over is mounted behind the speakers in the kicks or elsewhere (forgot to ask)

It's an awesome deal for the kicks and the speakers, and I may just have to get both. I wasn't fond of the color mismatch from the kicks, but the door locations blow chunks ya know. I can deal for better imaging. Worse comes to worse, I can sell them for what I'm paying, easily, if not more :/

Default Oooh... nice. I wish I could afford the Hexs. They sound fantastic.

Yeah, I don't like the stock locations either. Plus the 4" mids are a joke. I have BA Rally (5.25") separates paired with a 10W0 sub in the trunk and it sounds so much better than the stock. I plan on upgrading to a 12" sub but don't know which to go with.
