Default Anyone in Germany know wtf a konto is?

I think it's some sort of bank account. I'm trying to pay a guy some euros.

Default Konto is simply the German word for "account." (more)

Bankkonto is a bank account, etc.

But you don't need a Kraut like me to do this for you - just try www.freetranslation.com next time and it'll translate just about anything so you don't have to wait around for an answer :-)

Default Your bank should be able to wire it to him with a routing number and account number (more)

I have had money wired to me from accounts I have in Germany and I just gave them my U.S. bank routing and account numbers. Should work same way the other direction, but may take 2-3 days to go through.

OR see if he takes paypal - MUCH easier!

Default Yeah Paypal was the first thing I tried. He said the website was in english and he did not

underastand it. I can't gripe. If it were in German I could not understand it either. I'll call my Banko.
