Anyone had experience with Continental Contiextreme tires in the rain/snow?
#4
I've had them in lots of snow, and in lots of rain...
They did pretty well in the snow (not as good as a dedicated snow tire is going to be, but that's to be expected), and the only time they really lost traction was if I was aggressive with the throttle. I was able to plow out of snow piles with ease.
In the rain they are great, they hydroplane a bit, but nothing to worry about, and probably not anymore than any other all season tire.
In the dry they are also pretty good, it takes a lot for them to squeal, and they hang on to the pavement better than I expected from an all season tread.
I live in NY and we have had quite a bit more snow and rain than usual this year, so these tires have been through everything and taken it with ease.
