I wish it were a dream car, Chuck...

... if it were, I'd drive it out from Redmond sometime so we could have lunch. Unfortunately, she sits around with no working gearbox and is in the process of being sold to a collector in the area.

If I remember correctly, John/TSR also has a '67 Elan... probably in working condition since I bet he has the resources to dig up gearboxes out of old British stablehouses or something.

Waiting for another winding Trained Seals story of how parts were located...

how's the rest of the car? I can only imagine how...

...difficult and expensive it would be to find a gearbox for a rare car like that. What happened to the gearbox? I think I have a European Car magazine that has a '67 (or so) Elan. I'll have to try and dig that out!
