Default it has been discussed to death a year or so ago
general summary is that it doesnt do well/much on an A4

Default It doesn't do to well on any car usually. A lot of people have power problems(headlight dimming...
can't run AC, and things like that). You could always get an alternator that would work well with the pulley, that might make it better but I don't know if it's worth the small hp gain you get.
