dont mean it in that way, just looking for someone who could help me out
i borrowed a interface cable from a friend just ned to check why my engine light is on and maybe program my windows

TheKey is generated by the VAGCOM software and is hardware dependant...
... MyKey will only work on my computer. You need YourKey.
Really, your friend needs to uninstall the key from their VAGCOM software on their computer and then you need to email Ross-Tech to get a key for your computer.

He doesnt have vag-com just the cable he has a different software for american cars
I just wanted to run a simple test but i was just told i can run it with the downloaded version

I thinks it's a little more involved then that.
Correct me if I'm wrong guys. But the serial # that is generated during the install of the crippled demo you have is unique to the machine the installation was done on. From this serial #. Uwe is able to generate a unique activation key.
Interestingly, Uwe told me he was able to see my config by that serial #. To make a long story short. Our activation codes probobly would not work for you. Break out the AMX.
