I'm researching a hood for my car, I would prefer a vented one. I checked out some sites on the net and I've found two that I really like. The first is from DTM Karbon, but it weights 24lbs according to the site. the second is the invader style hood from VIS racing which weights 14lbs according to their sales staff. The both come clear coated, and mount to the stock hood latch system. I am loving the style of the DTM, but the weight of 24lbs makes it seem as if it's not all carbon fiber. Anyone with their opinions, please respond. I could not find a pic of the invader hood on the net anywhere.

What about PLAIN carbon hoods? No vents, OEM style. What's a good manufacturer? Price point?
