Anyone have center console squeaks? Not armrest, but console surrounding the shifter?

Anyone have center console squeaks? Not armrest, but console surrounding the shifter?
Damn it's annoying. This car is driving me nuts. 6 months, 7300 miles and rattles up the ***.
I can push on the console and make it squeak. Well, at least I could yesterday. Today it's quiet.

Rattle fix for center console.
simple fix - I found the leather boot is sqeaking when it rub against the sides. So I replaced it with alcantera boot from UUC.
more "involved" fix - the take out the center console. Apply silicone rubber sealant (clear) surrounding all contact points between plastic pieces.
A bit extreme. but effective.

I have a buzz in that area, esp. at certain RPM. My best solution
is to hit it hard with the heal of my hand and curse. That makes the buzz stop for anywhere from seconds to days, depending.
It's annoying and, frankly, embarrassing.
