Anyone have experience with Barrier Audi in Bellevue Wa?

Here was my deal ...
I got $1000 off MSRP. I was after a 2.8QSTip in a decent color, which was one of the most popular configurations at the time. Nobody had one on the lot in the Seattle area; the best I could do was wait a few weeks for a delivery from port.
It seems like there were more 1.8Ts sitting on the lot when I was there, plus a reasonable variety of older cars and/or less popular colors (Melange, Sable Brown). I probably could've gotten a better deal on one of these, but didn't want to settle.

With my Costco membership, 4.7% over invoice (more)
If you are going to buy a car, join Costco for a year (I think it's about $40) and you should save way more than that on the car purchase.
My car (2000 1.8T Quattro, Tipronic, Xenons, Sport seats, Cold Weather, Convenience, Bose) ended up $1272 over invoice.
I think that's a pretty good deal for the Seattle area.

Barrier was very snooty when I was shopping for an A4; wound up with CarOrder and University
The folks at Barrier wouldn't even really talk to me. Guess A4s just aren't that important to them. Much like Sunset Porsche+Audi in Portland.
I went with CarOrder and the "invoice price" specials they were running. University was the dealer, and Dave Wood the sales person. Dave was fairly helpful. No problems at University with the 5k service, got a loaner too.
FYI, if you're Passat shopping, I had good luck at Auburn VW with Mike Rose.

I paid 6.6% over invoice at University
for my 2000 ebony 2.8 QM with xenons, BOSE,convenience, and leather, which was $1700 over invoice. This was back in February. Whenever I read a post from someone who paid 4.7% (John Davies), I feel like a chump, but I get the impression that the price over invoice for 1.8Ts is a little lower since they are less scarce. I had some trouble finding a 2.8 with manual transmission. Good luck!

I paid about 4.7% over invoice, too at University
I paid about the same as John Davies (4.7% over invoice) at the University dealership. I have the sport, conv, xenon .. basically everything except for the nav.<p>Cori
