the tiny black rectangle on top of the socket, is the chip... it says GIAC on it

Default without the sticker on it is it an AMD chip
i have a chip in a GIAC box that came with the car(i bought it used from private dealer) and its an AMD chip. So my question is is the chip i have inside the box the GIAC chip or the stock chip. thats wat i need help figuring out. Id post a pic of it but my camera cant take a detailed pic of it.
