Im self taught (isnt everyone), guess I just dont know how to change the color of the car easily...If someone wants to tell me how that would be great..

Default The trickiest part is making the selection....
Once you've made the selection, play around with the hue/saturation settings. Try the "colorize" mode within hue/saturation.

To make the selection properly, you will need to learn how to use paths properly.

Yup. It's a system of bezier curves that allows you to have amazing control over your selections.
