Anyone have a problem getting a loaner when in for service?

My dealer has a quota for the number of loaners they give out. If you don't call way in advance, you're SOL. Maybe I shouldn't complain since the service is free, but the dealer makes such a big deal about how their customers love their loaners, I think it's false advertising.
My wife never has a problem getting a loaner at the Lexus dealer. They do make a major extraction from the wallet for service, however.
While I'm ranting, they've got new a**holes in the service department, who are very patronizing while they smile at you. I may just go elsewhere for my next car.

When the dealer says loaner, in my experience, they never mean an actual Audi. They mean a rental. The one time I had one it was a Kia Sephia.
I may be wrong about it, though. I'll have to be more specific when I ask next time.

so it seems that my dealer's policy is similar to those is Socal. I don't mind being treated like everyone else. I do wish that the dealer had been more clear about the policy from the start. Of course, they talked about their "loaner/rental" policy in glowing terms before I bought. I'm in VA BTW.
