I have '99 V-6, 38,000 miles and after a check engine light I am told BOTH my "combi valves" are stuck and must be replaced. At a cost of $431, I was wondering if others have had this problem, too.

I have never heard of a combi valve. There are plenty of valves on the 30v engine, but I have not heard of this combi valve.

That't what the dealer called them, they control the air flow ino the enginelooks like a pipe fitting, about 3 inches, seems to need gaskets. They said the turbo 4 uses the same valve, just one of them.
I just cant figure out how both can go bad at once!
