Anyone have trouble SHIFTING from 3rd to 4th gear..??
.. when I shift from 3rd to 4th gear.. I get something momentarily stopping the shift from being completely smooth. It's about the point when the gear is in Neutral, right befor it engages into 4th gear.

I had that frequently when shifting from 2nd to 3rd
Dealer said they didn't notice it.
Tranny went bad at 28k mi (2nd and 3rd gear!!!)
Got it "fixed."
Tranny got noisy again after another 30k mi (1st gear). Still is noisy...

Have that too sometimes from 2nd to 3rd and 3rd to 4th
Only noticed it after I got some help installing my shortshifter, thought it was maybe because the shifter is slightly off to the side of center... perhaps this isn't just an isolated thing like I thought it was.

does your know lean to the LEFT or RIGHT??
also.. from what I have been reading.. UUC has this issue too.. and I guess it's just the way it was designed.. my **** leans a little to the LEFT.. not by much though..

yes... i do.. i know exactly what u r saying.. mine is 96 12v..
there is something stopping the shift from 3 to 4 momentarily.. u have to force it a lil bit and stay on the clutch abit.. yes..

Prperly adjusted it should rest centered in the gate between 3rd and 4th.
Straight up it should snick into 3rd . .straight back into 4th. If you have to move it left or right to select either gear it is misadjusted.
