Anyone hooked a piggyback boost controller/fuel controller up to the 1.8T?

Before you say, I know that a modified chip is the best way to go. However, I want to do some development work on a turbo setup before commiting myself to getting a custom chip done. Most of the pickyback computers I can find are aimed at the Japanese market. Has anyone had success hooking for example, an Apexi S-AFC and AVC-R to either an Audi or VW 1.8T

the k03 is only efficient through a certain point. CMH is running the bar none fast k03 on this board.. His best run is a 14.396 and that is after some pretty extensive work and a super custom programed Race chip special from Garret. you can't just turn up the boost and go faster.. its not that simple. first get a new turbo kit.. and new programming.. then i'd worry about the boost controller.. engine internals are only good to a certain point.. and i don't know what that is...

For your information I don't on a stock K03. I am planning on building a custom turbo system with built bottom end, ported head, cams, ceramic coatings, uprated intercooler setup, ballbearing turbo, uprated transmission. I hope to get about 400 - 450hp eventually. As I stated in my previous post, the piggyback computer would only be a temporary thing used during development. After that I would consider getting a custom chip made.
