Default Anyone know how much slower a 0-60 run is at 6,000 feet?

Just wondering, I managed to get about a 8.3 0-60 in my 1.8 fronttrak tip with chip at altitude, how much faster would it be at sea level?

Thanks

Default for reference...

when i went to LACR raceway my MAF was reading in the low 140g/s. approx. 3000ft. adjusted altitude approx. 4000ft. best time there was a 15.4

while in san diego (la jolla) i logged high 160s g/s. (less than 300ft above sea level).

my exhaust is messed up, so having really bad effects on all performance. i will be running the 1/4 mile again in sacramento or somewhere closer to sea level once i get exhaust/clutch. so u will have a baseline then.

here is the formula most people use:
HP*.8 = g/s

try logging your MAF.

dahlback claims a 0-60 time of 7.6sec for stock exhaust. 6.9sec for exhaust. 6.7sec for exhaust/test pipe. those are most likely quattro/manual times, and are for their ndbw software.

Default Hey, that's where our turbos really shine!

By comparison only, a normally aspirated engine, would be some 30% slower, considering a 10% power loss per every 1,000 m of altitude.

Default they should make an underwater drag strip...lol...more non stupid stuff...

I like being at sea level.
My nDBW quattro/manual dahlback with testpipe and exhaust does 6.8 or so with not much of a launch at all. my clutch isnt great, once i finaly do that i should be able to get a nice launch and prob be able to get it down to 6.6 or so.
ive logged mid 170 g/s numbers before.
I wnat to get some toluene or race gas, I hear Dahlback likes that.
I have to go to a strip.

Default def. try out the race gas/tolulene...

brought my car from a 15.9(mike driving)/16.0(me driving) to a 15.4(slightly better conditions on the day w/race gas, i finally learned how to launch, shifts to 4th)

after two days at the track my clutch is toast. can't engage into 2nd gear at 3k rpms without the clutch massively slipping. be prepared to replace it if you ever decide to go.

Race at Atco or E-town at night and the adjusted alt will be well below sea level.
