The lumbar area of my driver seat creaks/crackles and it drives me nuts.]
I heard the fix is to lubricate the lumbar springs inside the seat. SO, anyone know how I can properly remove the plastic piece behind the seat to get to the mechanics in there?
TIA

There are two clips there. The rest of it is just held with adhesive, it'll give with some pressure. Also it stays sticky. I've taken mine off 3 or 4 times. It will surprise you how hard you have to pull on it though!
