anyone know if clear turn signal bulbs are legal in IL?

they're illegal everywhere. but i have them, and i live in New york, the state with the strictest cops anywhere, and i have had a cop stare at them from 2 feet away intentionally and not say a damned thing. i'm pretty sure theres no thing.

They are legal, as some new cars are now shipped with "clear corners" (Volvo S40)

....the question involved the bulb, not the housing. You either need a clear housing and a yellow bulb -or- a yellow housing and a clear bulb. A clear bulb in a clear housing isn't really legal and you *might* get pulled over by a cop or have difficulty passing a state inspection (if your state checks such things).

was it at night? the only time you would get caught would be if u use them at night,but do they care
