Default Anyone know the part number for the center caps for..

...the 16x7 Swing Wheel? I need to replace the VW center caps that came with the wheels I bought for Audi center caps.

Default good and bad news

you already have what you're looking for. VW puts metalic "stickers" on top of audi caps. peal the stickers off and you'll see the 4 rings. you'll will most likely need to have them painted b/c the finish will be not so good.

Default Thanks! Second question...

Is there an easy way to pop the center caps off the wheels w/o removing the wheels from the car? The tolerance between the wheels and the caps is very tight.

Default use a very thin flathead wrapped in felt or soft clothe

as you probably know, the best way is to pop them off from the inside while the wheels are off.

Default i won't sleep tonight if i don't also tell you to

be carefull taking off the stickers. the edges are very sharp and will cut you like razors if you don't take your time. once you have a small area pealed back, pull off slowly with pliers. if you wear garden/utility gloves, you'll have zero issues

Default Good suggestion. I just got the first one off, and....

...you are right, the stickers are sharp. Pliers are a good idea. I think I may be able to use a Dremel tool to clean up the caps after I get the VW logos off.

Sleep well...
