Anyone know whent he 2000 models are dut to arrive at the dealers? What will be the price of the A6 2.8 manual? (this includes A4 and A6 please).

I'm not sure, but I've heard that the A6 2.7 Turbo will command<br>a premium of about 3k over the normally aspirated version when<br>comparably equipped, and WILL be available with a manual. <br>I read a review of this engine in a european car magazine, and<br>they gave it a huge thumbs up. IMHO, if you want the sportiness<br>of the manual, perhaps you should wait?

Concerning the arrival of 2000 models in U.S. showrooms.... I can comment based on my knowledge of typical European factory practices. Virtually EVERYONE in Europe goes on holiday from about mid-July to the end of August. This is when the model year changeover occurs in the auto fabrication factories. So... the first 2000s will roll off the line in late August or early September. Add in shipment time and you'll likely see the new 2000 models in U.S. ports and on showroom floors some time in mid-October.
