Anyone in the Maine/NH or close area know of a mandrel bending shop for exhaust? TIA!

Default A good welder can cut and TIG stainless pre bent and do a great exhaust

There was a guy in Columbus who bought one of the million dollar mandrell bending machines and was going to do custom work, but had to stop and just do OEM type work for aftermarket vendors. It is too expensive to do custom work/ and not enough volume. Using pre bends, a plasma cutter and Tig welder will do work almost as nice and will be cheaper even if you can find a machine from my experience.

Default Thanks, I made my own DP and such in my shop with just what you mentioned.

I can do that certainly - but the fact is that a single piece of tube will last better.

It looks as though I will be welding them again though as I can not find anyone remotely near me that does it. There is a guy that "crush bends" and does a really nice job for what it's worth. Anything less than about 60 degrees has little if any distortion. I may just go see him.
