Default second that. i used to run the BKR6E plugs and was changing them with every oil change (roughly)
they perform well, but copper plugs don't last as long...

Default i do oil changes every 5K
and would change out the plugs every 5-10K. I could usually tell when the plugs needed to be changed because the engine wouldn't sound as smooth at idle. I could always tell a difference when I swapped in new plugs, too.
