Can anyone out there with a bentley CD either post or e-mail me the wiring diagram etc for a 98 2.8Q windshield / headlight washer system.
The wipers react to the wash mode, but nothing from the windsheild jets or the headlight washers. All fuses are good.

and (I hate to ask this) have you checked the fluid level?
I'll see if I can dig out the wiring diagram, hang on.

I thought it was the fluid level as well, so I filled it, which now of course is just going to make taking the tank / pump out that much more of a mess. I was told that there are two pumps, one on the side of the tank for the headlight washers, and one that feeds from the bottom of the tank in a more conventional method. The reason I thought the problem is electrical is that neither the window or the headlight washers have any output. From the looks of this diagram, there is only one pump - so I suspect that is the culprit.
Any tips or tricks for pulling the tank?

on the 2.8, there is only a single reservoir and pump. the 1.8 has two pumps and a dual, connected reservoir... the bentley isn't completley clear...
