My 89 LX Mustang is "internally stock" if that counts,...but I think I'll still beat you

Yeah I'm told that all the time but with 163,000 on the clock I worry some,...
Currently I'm in the middle of a complete interior upgrade to all black and black leather. Has taken me two years to get all the peices together.
Think my next big thing will be roll bar, not that big a deal really, yet to accomidate the belts I want to use I'll need it.
Then after a few more trips to the track then I'll consider heads depending on how she's running. If ya'll thought Audi's have their tic's and frustrating problems drive one of these around. You better have a second or third car. Good thing though, parts are very easy to come by and don't cost as much.

you should spank him,...what was his previous car and how long have you had yours
a lot of the time it just comes down to driver not car but I'm sure you knew that. I know very little about your car (1999 1.8 turbo) but what I do know about his is that if his ONLY mods are that hood (does nothing for HP) and flows then he is looking at "MAYBE" 190 HP to the wheels. Its said his car has 225 HP off the dealer lot...yes that true but not to the wheels it's more like 190 HP (on a good day with low miles).
His flows do very very little with no other exhaust mods and depending on how many miles are on the car will determine how 'tired' it is.
Good luck hope you win and post the vid so I can copy it and post it on my mustang board. I help moderate a Norther California Mustang message board so it would be fun to post your video and start some talk.
